Sweet & Savory Brekkie

This breakfast literally made my day haha, I guess I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. The flavoring of savory spices for the asparagus and egg in combination with a little bit of honey in the crêpe was savory & sweet perfection. This was so yummy I wish I had someone to share it with this morning, where the heck is my taste tester when i need him (cough, cough Savva)! I hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did and keep in mind the gluten free crêpe can be used for multitudes of other combinations. 

I used a 12 inch skillet for the asparagus and egg, I started with cooking the asparagus on the stove and then once topped with the egg I finished cooking in the oven, broiling on high.

Ingredients:
About 8 - 10 Asparagus
1 Egg
1-2 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper

Directions:
Mix olive oil, spices and asparagus in a bowl
using a pan or cast iron, heat to a medium heat
Add asparagus and cook until asparagus are tender about 4-5 minutes
Turn your broiler on high
Crack an egg on top of the tender asparagus and add to the broiler for about 3 minutes
Keep an eye on the broiler until you reach the level you like your egg cooked
Place over a warm crêpe and top with a little more spices (optional)
